Here is a list of the cutest and most affordable pieces I’ve found lately. All sets or bodies under $50. This is biased towards those (like me) with meager busts— I will be adding stuff for the more full busted soon, just follow this list on Have to Have to get updates. Find all of these and some other cute pieces here: http://www.havetohave.com/list/856.
You should follow my account on Have to Have. They are a new site that lets you save and share products from any retailer and make fun lists. I’ve stored my lists on there of my lingerie “starter kits” and I really love it.

This post is for househusbanddreams and his question about a lingerie starter kit for $500. This is what I would choose and (without shipping and handling) it costs $498.14 (I only just stayed on budget).
The first is the Fleur of England Darling Lace set including the bra, brief and garter belt. This is the most expensive part of my selections, coming to $315.75. Yes, that’s a lot, but it’s three gorgeous pieces and it’s sexy, classy and classic. The black and blush combination would look gorgeous on anyone and it really quite wearable out of the bedroom. I’m trying to argue myself out of ordering it now (but of course, I don’t have the money).
Secondly, I would choose the Mimi Holliday by Damaris L’intensité Body. It’s red (a sexy color) and it’s on sale (for $46.20 from $115.50). Seriously, there’s nothing not to like. Less practical than some choices, but so beautiful.
Thirdly is an Asos Floral Mesh Slip with matching briefs ($74.13). I love this because I feel like every lingerie collection should have a piece that is sweet rather than sexy and which would be perfect for looking beautiful while lounging around the house. Definitely what I would call a Sunday Brunch in Bed piece.
The fourth set I would choose is this Asos Brittany Fishnet Lace bra and thong ($48.27). I adore the color and the see-through lace of the cups (in conjunction with the thong) adds just enough sexy. The bright color is really trendy right now and it’s a perfect set to wear on a normal day just to feel special.
Finally, the stockings are a no brainer. They are inexpensive seamed stockings from Asos ($13.79) that will go perfectly with the Fleur of England set. I prefer regular stockings to hold-ups because I think hold-ups can be really unflattering on your thighs and fall down constantly.
I hope this is a helpful list for househusbanddreams or anyone who is thinking about starting a lingerie collection. Here is the list of items and where you can buy them if you are interested:
Thanks!
Welcome! I had a lot of fun doing it. Thinking about doing some more actually— an Etsy one & a BDSM-inspired one— what do you think?
