I have never documented this myself, but having given and gave mockup/ toile fittings overseas, this is a nice case study.
For those not comfortable trying on an overbust mockup without a shirt underneath, light fitted shirt or cami like Caro is wearing helps. If you don’t intend to wear a bra under the finished overbust, then also go sans bra with the mockup to see how it will support and shape your bust area.
And remember to try to sit down in the mockup and be sure that it doesn’t hit your lap! ^^
If it’s okay with the corsetiere, don’t be afraid to write allllllll over the mockup. I have preferred that my past clients wrote on the mockup in addition to notes by Skype or email, to remind me of the little tweaks.
